The Challenge

The concept for C&O Entertainment (trading as Owens Entertainment) was for a host of entertainment stalls including VR, subversive experiences, pool, bowling, golf, soft play, food, drinks. Over 3 floors of an old abandoned Debenhams store which needed full renovation within a few months to open ready for the school holidays.

We were tasked with quoting for telephony, broadband and WIFI and had a 6 week window to deliver it, the project then increased with the addition of winning the contract for data cabling.

Due to the nature of the ever evolving and changing requirements we provided weekly survey and account management meetings on-site to evaluate any required changes and. updates to the plan/orders.

The Outcome

After getting the contract for the work in April of 2022, we had finished the work by July. An incredible turnaround of works to meet the clients extremely tight deadline. The project was delivered on time and within budget.

• 10x user IT hardware & support

All of which ready to go for opening day. And because of the subscription basis of the build, costs spread and well within budget therefore offering a fantastic ROI from day 1, exceeding their cost and service expectations.

Ours has not been a straightforward project, completely re cabling the entire 80,000 Sq-Ft centre, to cope with what we need now but also build in future proof provisions, new phone systems robust WI-FI for up to potentially 800 visitors at any one time and multiple network provisions for attractions, concessions food and beverage outlets and the various other systems that required secure networks.
